The house has four double bedrooms and one twin, all with exposed beams and each beautifully furnished. The four larger bedrooms have king- size beds. In bedroom five, next to the master, there is a wooden cot and baby-change unit with a single bed and a pull out bed underneath so the room can be set up as a nursery or as a twin. With its exposed stone pillars, original roof timbers and exceptional views of the Coquet Valley this room has the most extraordinary tranquil atmosphere, the perfect place to chill out and relax on your Northumbrian holiday.

There is an abundance of wildlife in and around the garden including nesting swallows and house martins which give fantastic aerial displays during the summer months. Also on your doorstep are a number of bridleways and public footpaths. You could choose to take a riverside walk along the banks of the nearby River Coquet where along with the stunning scenery you may be lucky enough to see kingfishers and even otters. Alternatively you might want to explore the local countryside to admire the amazing landscape and look out for deer, red squirrels, foxes, badgers, several species of owls, lapwings and herons.
